Our home and camp, Gold Valley Lodge is nestled in the mountains outside Nelspruit, in the Province of Mpumalanga. Luxury thatched accommodation, en-suite chalets, a dining/entertainment area, fireplace and swimming pool ensure an unforgettable stay with us.

TRAVEL:
Consult your travel agent on visa requirements, personal / baggage insurance and ensure all documentation is in order. Major Airlines maintain a direct service to Johannesburg Airport. Daily scheduled flights to KMIA (Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport) in Nelspruit take + 1 hour, where client's are met and driven to our camp only 45 minutes away. Private Charter Flights to neighboring countries and remote areas within South Africa can be arranged. We use professional Travel Agencies that offer the best fares - Please consult us!

CLIMATE:
Moderate temperatures and pleasant days can be expected during the season - March through November. Light rains fall from October and our summer rains during December to March. Day temperatures in most of Mpumalanga, Natal and Northern Province vary between 12'C (54'F) to 27'C (80'F) April through October, although early mornings and evenings will require warmer clothing especially in the Eastern Cape region.

CLOTHING AND PERSONAL KIT:
• Darker natural colour clothing, comfortable well-worn footwear and sun hat are the most important items.
• LIght and warm clothing requirements will vary between some provinces. (Consult us for suggestions)
• No inoculations are required although precautions against Malaria in the Lowveld region is recommended.  Medication program to be started prior to the Safari. (Consult us for suggestions)
