Day 12:
Fly KMI Airport or Cape Town International (pending itinerary) directly to Johannesburg International for a connecting flight to Livingstone Island on the Zambian side.   On arrival guests are met by their host and assisted with immigration formalities and transferred to the  Zambezi Sun Hotel.  En-route your host will introduce you to Livingstone Town, it’s history and insight into the Zambian people.  Check in at Hotel.  In the late afternoon you will be taken to the African Queen, a luxurious 70 foot catamaran where you will explore the Zambezi River and enjoy the sunset on the river.  Drinks and canapé’s are served to you while you leisurely cruise the river looking for Hippo and game on the banks of the river. Guests will be escorted to the topmost deck – the prestigious Captain’s Cabin.  A private steward  will be assigned to you throughout the cruise.   After sunset, guests will be transferred back to their Hotel.  Dinner  at leisure.  Overnight at Zambezi Sun Hotel. 

Day 13:
In the mid-morning, guests are transferred from the lobby to the entrance of the Falls in a private ‘golf’ cart.

Your host will guide you through the Falls and point-out important features as well as discuss the formation of the falls, their significance to the local tribes and religions etc.  Transferred to a boat launch site a few kilometers upriver where a professional river-guide will meet you and take you further upriver by boat to the raging rapids where tiger fish frolic for an afternoon of fishing.    The Zambezi River has over 40 species of fish, of which the famous fighting tiger fish is just but one.  If lucky, guests may also encounter the yellow bream, 3-spot tilapia, catfish etc.  Drinks and picnic lunch served on board.  Afternoon return to shore and transfer to your hotel.  Dinner at leisure.  Overnight at the Zambezi Sun Hotel.

Day 14:
An early morning for a full days fishing on the Zambezi River.  Picnic and drinks are served on board.  Your boat has a sunroof which can be folded away to allow for casting  Overnight at the Zambezi Sun Hotel. 

Options on this day other than fishing, include White Water rafting, Elephant back rides, “flight of

Angels” helicopter flight over falls, canoe rides on the upper Zambezi, village tours or simply relaxing around the pool at your hotel.

Day 15:
Breakfast in restaurant and early morning at your leisure.  In the midmorning, guests check out of hotel.  Your luggage will be collected and your host will transfer you to the Livingstone Airport for your flight to
Johannesburg International to connect with next domestic or international flight.

Included in cost:

  • Return airport transfers (Livingstone Airport) in custom 4x4 vehicle
  • Guide for tour of the Victoria Falls (entry fees included in the accommodation rate)
  • Sunset cruise on the African Queen in the privacy of the ‘Captain’s Cabin’, included, bar, snacks, dedicated steward and private return transfers.
  • Full Day fishing with guide and picnic lunch, fishing tackle and drinks.
  • Half day fishing safari with guide including full tackle, bar and transfers
  • Dedicated services of a Victoria Falls Anytime host throughout the program.
  • Accommodation at the Zambezi Sun Hotel on a bed & breakfast per person sharing basis

 Excluded in cost:

  • Airfares and taxes  – domestic and International
  • Visa fee for Zimbabwe.  Zambia visa is free, provided we have the Passport information prior to arrival.  Departure tax from Livingstone Airport.
  • Any extras/items of personal nature e.g. phone calls, laundry, bar, gratuities/porterage fees etc.
  • Any other optional tours/activities and dinners at restaurants.

 Terms and Conditions:

  • A deposit of 50% of the total daily cost is required to confirm the booking
  • Balance of daily rates payable 60 days prior to commencement of safari
  • All payments to be made in cash, traveller’s cheques or Swift Wire Transfers  (New price list to apply for following year)
  • Deposits are not refundable but by the sole discretion of the company can be transferred or carried over to the following season.
